Mission Statement & Purpose

We are not just a team, we are FAMILY

Westchester Pride Volleyball Club is determined to provide a positive and  informative experience for each athlete that steps on our courts. Our Mission is “To efficiently facilitate diverse methods of Volleyball training and create a positive atmosphere for athletes to learn and have fun.”

Our goal is to aid young girls in enhancing their skills while promoting self-worth, teamwork, and a positive work ethic.

Our united vision is to be able to give all our athletes the option of playing at a collegiate level and opening doors that may otherwise be closed.

WPVBC has a highly knowledgeable staff of veteran coaches and will work to ensure that our members are well prepared for competition. We understand that student athletes have a lot on their plate and work to create a schedule that benefits the teams as a whole… stressing that academics is number one! We are currently working on becoming a non-profit organization so we can apply for grants and offset the cost. Our goal is to be able to offer our club to EVERY athlete that would like to play regardless of their financial situation.

Our club volleyball activities consist of regionally organized and governed training programs for athletes interested in obtaining advanced level training and competition in the sport of volleyball. Players participate after their school volleyball season and compete against other club programs.

GOALS:

  • To guide athletes through High School and provide them the tools for collegiate recruiting.
  • To promote the game and increase its awareness in the tri-state area
  • To provide a place and opportunities where athletes can learn and grow in the sport.
  • To have athletes improve their skill set while having a positive club volleyball experience.
  • To push and challenge our athletes so that they continuously strive for excellence.
